Welcome to my site about, well anything and everything really, and not necessarily always Cornish, although a good part of it is the history and the goings on in and around Bude and Stratton.

I am by no means a professional photographer
(I'm just someone with a camera) for me
it's a hobby I love and enjoy. I almost always have a camera on
me, just in case.. For me it's about capturing a moment in time, and
trying out different ways of photographing different things. Several of my photos have won small prizes in small local
contests, it's not about the big prizes, it's about taking a
picture I can be proud of, and I think..yea .. I did that !!

~ I like to take a photo or two and usually have my camera in my
pocket.... So I have all these photos and all this history and decided to put the two together and make a website, for several reasons , but mainly, Just Because I Can... And it's putting all the things I've learnt on a computer course to good use. Also having lived here since for ever and not really knowing any Cornish history, I thought it was about time I learnt some... |

After weeks of pondering on a name for the site, and coming up with nothing appropriate, whilst out for a walk one day, my son Jake came up with Through A Lens, so we threw in Cornish and here we are !! There's also a few photographs here and there that Jake has taken.
